Terms document on a desk with pen and laptop — Itqan terms and conditions

Who we are

These terms are provided by the Itqan (Itqan Tools) platform at www.itqantools.com. The platform is operated from Amman, Jordan in Jordan, as described on About and Contact. References to “Itqan”, “we”, or “the platform” mean this service on that domain.

By using any page, tool, account, subscription, or contact form, you deal with us under this text and, where they apply, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Security page. If we later publish details of a formally registered entity, we will add them here; until then the identifier is the platform on the domain above, operated from Amman.

What the service covers

The service includes the digital tools published on the website (more than seventy tools) and any tool or feature we later add on the same platform. Most processing happens in the browser over an encrypted connection, with no software to install on your device, and within the limits shown on the tool page or pricing.

Tool categories include PDF documents (merge, split, compress, crop, organize, page numbers, delete pages, rotate, edit, OCR, protect and unlock, sign, compare, redact, translate, and others as published); conversion between PDF and formats such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, and JPG; images and audio (compress, convert, edit, watermark, text-to-speech and speech-to-text, noise reduction, extract audio from video); and office tools (calculators, converters, text and translation, passwords, QR, JSON, logos, and finance documents).

An account is optional for most tools. The scope may also include saved progress, paid plans, team features in business solutions, an organization dashboard, single sign-on, and a developer API where those pages exist and apply. If Itqan later offers additional access channels (for example a mobile app), this page will be updated when they go live; until then your obligations remain those of the current website terms.

Accepting these terms

This document creates obligations when you use the service. By visiting www.itqantools.com, uploading a file, creating an account, or paying for a plan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these terms. If you use the platform for a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Acceptance means you will use the service for lawful purposes, will not infringe others’ rights, and will not share a paid account in a way that breaches the plan. If you do not agree or cannot comply, you must not use the site. Continuing to browse after a published change to the terms is acceptance of the new version unless you stop using the service.

The service is intended for people who can enter into a contract. If a minor uses it, responsibility sits with the parent or the person supervising the account. We may refuse service if access is prohibited by a court or by the law of your place of residence.

How we use your data

How we process your name, email, session and usage data, and cookies is set out in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Temporary file transfer and deletion are described on Security. This section does not replace those pages; if a summary here conflicts with the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy governs your personal data.

We do not sell the content of uploaded files or use it to train targeted ads from the file text. Cookies needed to run the site, language, and session work without extra consent. Advertising and analytics cookies stay off until you accept them in the banner (Google Consent Mode v2). You can change that choice later from the Cookie Policy or the cookies link in the footer.

Your files and content

Content here means any file, text, image, or audio you upload, paste, or import to run a tool. You remain the owner of that content. Itqan does not claim ownership. We use it only to complete the task you chose, then delete temporary copies under the privacy and security policies; we do not keep a permanent archive of file contents.

You alone are responsible for the legality of the content and for having the right to process it. We do not open files for day-to-day review of their substance. Limited technical access may occur to fix a fault, investigate abuse, or comply with a binding legal request. If you import from Google Drive or Dropbox, your agreement with that provider also applies; we process the file you selected and then delete temporary copies like other uploads.

Keep an original copy before you upload. The result page is not a lasting backup. If the download window ends or temporary copies are deleted, we may be unable to restore the file. We may refuse or delete processing of illegal, harmful, or infringing content when we are notified through a reliable channel or it otherwise becomes apparent.

Your Itqan account

You can use most tools without an account. An account lets you manage a subscription, settings, usage history, and team features where available. You create it with email and password, or through a sign-in provider shown on the registration page (for example Google) if enabled, or through an organization invitation and single sign-on if your organization has contracted for that.

You are responsible for keeping access confidential and for all activity on your account, even if you did not perform it yourself after credentials leaked. Do not share your password or use someone else’s account. Keep your email up to date and use any extra protection we offer if available. If you suspect unauthorized access, tell support at once via Contact or support.itqantools@gmail.com.

We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, fraud, or abuse of the infrastructure. You may request account deletion under the Privacy Policy; deletion does not automatically cancel amounts already due except as described in the refund section. Password recovery is through “forgot password” on the sign-in page.

Allowed use

Use the service in good faith for the purpose published on each tool page, in line with the law, public order, and these terms. Respect size and usage limits shown for your free or paid plan. Fair use means you will not consume resources through excessive automation or a rate far beyond reasonable manual use in a way that harms other users or the servers.

Your internet connection is your responsibility; line speed and quality affect uploads and processing, and we are not responsible for your provider’s outages or costs. Some tools run entirely in the browser; others send the file to our servers, depending on the tool, as described in help or on the tool page.

What is not allowed

You must not use the platform in a way that harms the service, others’ rights, or the law. That includes, without limitation: fraud or impersonation; accessing other people’s accounts; uploading viruses or malware; circumventing limits or payment systems; selling or renting the account; harassing support staff or users; infringing copyright or trademarks; generating misleading content to harm others; collecting other people’s personal data without a legal basis; or overloading the site with unauthorized scraping or automated requests.

Notice: A breach may lead to refused processing or a suspended account, and to cooperation with payment providers or authorities where appropriate. Itqan is not responsible for your unlawful use.

Do not tamper with the platform

You must not alter the site interface or tools to bypass protections or limits, attempt to extract source code or algorithms, reconstruct the system by watching inputs and outputs, or use platform outputs to train competing AI systems unless we expressly allow that for a given tool. Ordinary use through the browser and the official developer API on the developers page, within your keys and limits, is allowed.

If the law of your country gives you a limited right to decompile for interoperability with another program, ask us for the information first through support before any decompilation; we may set reasonable conditions to protect our rights.

Licence to use the site and tools

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, revocable if you breach these terms, to use the site and tools as we provide them: for your personal purposes or for your work and commercial projects under these terms, consistent with the FAQ. The licence does not transfer ownership of the name, logo, design, or code.

Heavy or team use may require a paid plan or an organization account under pricing and business solutions. You may not resell the platform as a white-label product or offer it to others as a hosted service in your name without a written agreement with us. Any use outside this framework needs prior permission.

AI-assisted features

Some tools rely on automated models to summarize, translate, generate titles or logos or explanations, or produce similar output. They are offered for convenience and may be incomplete, wrong, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it for important decisions, and for having the right to process the inputs.

We do not use your files to train targeted advertising models from their content; temporary processing is described in the Privacy Policy. You must not use these features to produce illegal or misleading content that harms others, to infringe copyright, or to extract the model itself. We may change or pause an AI tool for maintenance or compliance without that being a breach unless a published plan says otherwise.

Fees and subscription

Most core tools are free within published limits. Higher limits or extra features may require a subscription paid through PayPal when checkout is available from the pricing page or after purchase. The price shown is what we announce there; bank or payment-gateway fees charged by a third party are not part of Itqan’s price and are not our responsibility.

The subscription period starts when payment succeeds. If auto-renewal exists, it will be stated on the plan page when enabled; you can cancel renewal from plan management or by asking support before the period ends, as we display. We may change prices or plan contents with reasonable notice on the site or to the account email.

You may request a refund of a paid subscription within thirty days of purchase unless a specific plan states clearer terms on the pricing page. Ordinary cancellation after that window does not require us to refund the unused remainder unless we decide to or the law requires it. Payment details are processed by the payment provider; we do not store the full card number on our servers.

Billing details must be accurate. If collection fails, paid features may be suspended until the account is settled. Raise a payment dispute with support first; we may pause the related service until the matter is clear with PayPal.

Itqan’s intellectual property

The name, logo, design, editorial text of the platform, and website code belong to Itqan or are licensed to it. Do not use them in a way that suggests you are us or that your product is an official part of Itqan without permission. Do not remove copyright notices shown on the pages.

You keep rights in your files and in the processed output derived from them, subject to any third-party rights in the original. If you send a suggestion or review to improve the service, we may use it to develop the platform without payment unless we agree otherwise in writing. Tell us via Contact if you become aware of an apparent infringement of our marks or code.

Liability and limits of warranty

We provide the service “as is” and “as available”, without a warranty that the output is error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or compatible with every device, to the extent the law allows.

We aim for accurate processing and ongoing availability (an approximate operational target we have previously stated around 99.5%). That is not a binding service-level contract unless a separate written agreement is signed. We are not liable — where the law permits — for lost files, lost profits, indirect damage, your internet outages, temporary faults, or events outside our control.

On a free account, unpaid use corresponds to accepting this limited warranty. On a paid account, any compensation remains within amounts you actually paid for the relevant service in a reasonable period before the incident, unless a mandatory rule says otherwise. Notify us of a claim within a reasonable time after you learn of the harm. If you do not wish to accept these risks, stop using the service and keep your original copies.

Security and attacks

You must not introduce viruses or malware, attempt unauthorized access to servers or accounts, or launch denial-of-service attacks. A breach may be a crime as well as a breach of these terms; we may notify authorities and cut off access immediately.

We are not responsible for harm to your device from software you download outside the platform or from attachments you open yourself. Keep your system and security software up to date. Tell support if you see suspicious behaviour related to the site.

Fraud and misuse

Others may impersonate Itqan through sites or messages that resemble our brand to steal passwords or payment details. Sign in only from the official domain. Do not enter account details from a link you received in an unsolicited email or message that you did not request through the support form. We will not ask for your password on social media.

Payment fraud, using a payment method without the right to do so, or abusive chargebacks may lead to account suspension or cancellation and cooperation with PayPal. If we see suspicious activity we may contact you for clarification before we suspend, unless protection requires a faster response. This paragraph is a practical warning, not legal advice.

Availability and updates

We may fix bugs, improve a tool, pause a tool temporarily or permanently, or change its interface for maintenance or compliance. Website updates do not require a separate install from you. We do not guarantee worldwide availability without interruption, or that every tool is lawful or available in your country; you must check that your use is legal where you are.

If we shut down a paid service entirely and permanently for reasons on our side that are not force majeure, we will try to give reasonable notice and let you download results that are still available, and we may refund unused prepaid time at our discretion or as the law requires, without extending that to free accounts.

Events outside our control

We are not in breach if performance is prevented by events beyond reasonable control: hosting or network outages, large-scale attacks, disasters, official decisions, strikes, or failure of a payment, cloud-storage, AI-model, or advertising provider. Affected obligations pause for the duration of the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to resume the service.

Duration and ending use

These terms apply for as long as you use the site. You may stop at any time and delete your account from settings if available, or by asking support. Ending use does not excuse amounts already due except as described for refunds.

We may end access immediately for a material breach: violation of these terms or others’ rights, non-payment, abuse of the team, repeated abusive claims, or if providing the service becomes unlawful, or after long inactivity on a free account with no use. We will notify the email on the account where we can. After termination you must stop using the service. Intellectual-property, liability, confidentiality, and governing-law clauses survive to the extent their nature requires.

Cancelling a subscription and refunds

Cancel renewal from plan management or support while you are signed in. After cancellation, paid features may remain until the end of the paid period if we have granted that, without an automatic refund of the unused remainder unless the thirty-day refund from purchase applies or a fault attributable to us could not be fixed after you worked with support.

This describes the platform’s current policy in Jordan and on the website. It is not a consumer withdrawal regime of another country unless a binding rule applies to us. If mandatory consumer protection in your country applies to you, those statutory rights remain as that law provides.

Confidentiality

We treat non-public information about operating your account or technical issues you share with support as confidential. That does not cover information that is already public, that must be disclosed by law, or that we receive from a third party without a confidentiality duty. The duty continues after you stop using the service for as long as the information remains non-public.

Files you upload are not “our trade secrets”; they are your content. We protect them through temporary deletion and the absence of day-to-day review as described above, not through a separate enterprise-style NDA unless we sign an additional written agreement.

Technical support

We provide general platform maintenance for all users. Human support is available at support.itqantools@gmail.com, the contact form, and the FAQ. Expected response time is within 24–48 hours. We may give paid subscribers higher priority when demand is high, without that being a binding response-time contract unless a published plan says so.

Support explains how tools work; it does not perform your tasks or guarantee a legal or accounting outcome from calculators or from AI. If you send a file to diagnose a fault, you allow us to keep it for the time needed to test and then delete it, for that purpose only.

Communications and notices

Write to us through the contact form or the email above. We may write to the account email or post a notice on the site. Keep your details current so messages reach you. A notice on the site or after sending email to the registered address is sufficient unless the law requires a stricter form.

By creating an account you agree to necessary messages: verification, security, billing, and material changes to the terms. We may also send messages about features or offers related to Itqan. Check inbox and spam, and confirm the message is from our domain before you enter any credentials.

Ads on the site

We may show Google AdSense ads. Personalized ads depend on your consent in the cookie banner and on Google’s policies. Uploaded files are not used to build an ad from their content. Manage preferences in the Cookie Policy and the banner.

If we have social-network accounts in Itqan’s name, they exist to present the platform. Visitor comments there are those of their authors, not ours, and we may remove what we consider a breach. We will not ask for your account password on those networks.

Links and other sites

You may see a link to PayPal, Google, Dropbox, or third-party policies. We do not control those sites; their terms govern your use of them. A link is not an endorsement. If you learn that a destination is unlawful, tell us so we can disable it if we can.

Review of unlawful activity

We may review available technical logs (sign-in attempts, unusual usage patterns, fraud signals) to protect the platform and users and to comply with the law. That is our own investigative right. These terms do not require us to open our systems to an on-site or remote audit by a visitor or an auditor they appoint, unless a written organization agreement says otherwise.

If use exceeds the contracted plan, we may ask you to settle the difference, upgrade the plan, or we may suspend the extra features.

Assignment

You may not assign your account or these terms to someone else without our consent. Itqan may transfer operation of the platform or its rights and obligations to a successor that continues the service as far as possible; your use remains subject to the terms then in force. An unauthorized assignment by you may justify ending access.

Changing these terms

We may change this text for regulatory or technical reasons or because the service changes. We will try to announce a material change on the site or to the account email, with an effective date. Continuing after that date is acceptance of the new version. If you reject the change, stop using the service. The “last updated” date at the bottom of the page identifies the version shown.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute relating to the service is submitted to the competent courts in Jordan, unless a mandatory legal rule provides otherwise.

Before bringing a claim we prefer a reasonable attempt at an amicable resolution through support. If you are a consumer with mandatory protection in your country of residence, this section does not take away those statutory rights. The Arabic version of this page is the reference if it conflicts with the English translation, to the extent the law allows.

Closing provisions

Our failure to exercise a right once is not a waiver of it later. If a non-essential clause is invalid, the rest remains, and we replace the invalid part with the closest available meaning. Section headings are for convenience and do not change meaning. This page together with the related policies is the agreement on use of the website, unless a written organization contract expressly says otherwise for a specific part of the service.
